St. Ann’s College of Engineering & Technology, a premier institution in Andhra Pradesh, has secured a remarkable feat by ranking among the top 100 institutions in India, according to the India Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) 2023. The IIRF is a prestigious ranking system that evaluates the quality and performance of higher education institutions in India based on various parameters such as teaching, research, industry income, placement, and perception.

St. Ann’s College has achieved the 93rd rank at the national level, the 53rd rank of the Zone level, and the 4th rank at the state level in the IIRF 2023. This is a significant improvement from the previous year, when the college ranked 105th at the national level, 59th of the Zone level, and 5th at the state level. The college has also outperformed many other reputed institutions in its category and region.

The ranking is based on 7 performance indicators, deliberately focused on Indian socio economic and industrial scale varies across Placement Performance, Teaching Learning and Resources, Research, Industry Income and Integration, Placement Strategies and Support, and External Perception trusted nationwide by students, teachers, industry experts, and alumnus. The ranking reflects the excellence and commitment of St. Ann’s College in imparting quality education and fostering a culture of innovation and research among its students and faculty. The college has also been recognized for its social responsibility and contribution to the development of the society and the nation.

The prestigious IIRF award ceremony will take place on October 18, 2023 at The Ashok Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. This is a great honor for our college, as our Principal, Dr.M.VenuGopalaRao, will receive the award of top engineering college in India (private) from the IIRF. We are delighted to have the AICTE chairman, Prof. T.G.Sitaram, as the chief guest of the function. He will also deliver the keynote address and share his insights on the future of engineering education in India.

The Institution is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is Permanently Affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. The Institute offers 9 programs for Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) – CIVIL, EEE, ME, ECE, CSE, IoT, AI&ML, DS & CS, 5 programs for Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA). Five Programmes were accredited 3 times by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The Institution is accredited 2 times by NAAC with an ‘A’ Grade. The Institution is recognized by UGC under sections 2(f) and 12(B). The Institution is awarded an ‘A’ grade by Andhra Pradesh State Government. The Institution is permanently accredited by the Institution of Engineers (I). The institute is ranked as one of the topmost engineering institutes across the country by various survey agencies, notably: Times of India and CEGR. The institute has State-of-the-art computer laboratories with high-end 1500 terminals, 200 Mbps (1:1) leased line internet connectivity, 200+ Faculty and 1/3 of them PhD holders and 100 either PhD Pursuing or M.Tech Holders, drawn from IITS & NITs. The institute faculty received Best Teacher & Best Researcher Awards from the University. The college consistently produces good results with an increased number of university ranks including Gold Medals. The institution stands State 4^th in Pratibha Awards. 38 girl students got with 2 Lakhs Scholarship from AICTE in 2021. Centre for CIGS (Centre for GNSS ISRO studies) is established in the college in the year 2016 and it is involved in the design and development of space-borne instruments for ISRO missions and development and operationalization of applications of space technology for national development. SIEMENs Centre of Excellence for Technical Skill Development Institute (TSDI) was established in 2016 in collaboration with Andhra Pradesh state skill Development Corporation. This centre is having 6 laboratories with world-class industry -standard equipment worth Rs 2.5 corers. The institute has an IRM Centre (Infrastructure Rental Module) 550 High- End Systems, 160KV Generator. III years internships for students of close to 300 internships, some of them getting 15K/20K per month and the institute has decent standing of 500 ranking in the entire country and 150 in the southern region.
