St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala National Service Day Celebrations
College Secretary Mr. Vanama Ramakrishna Rao and Correspondent Mr. Srimantula Lakshmana Rao said in a joint statement that the conference was organized on the occasion of National Service Day (Y.Y.S.) at St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chira. Correspondent Shrimantula Lakshmana Rao said that it is commendable that the students participate in various service programs while studying, and enthusiastically participate in programs such as providing financial assistance to the needy in times of crisis.
College Principal Dr. K. Jagadish Babu said that in the coming days, the students of his college Y.Y.S. will expand such service programs and make every student active in the way of participating in community service programs. Every year in his college. He said that two blood donation camps are being organized as a matter of duty and 100 students are donating blood in one camp each time. Program Officer of the Department of Y.Y.S. Dr. Devi Jyoti Swaroop said that the Principal expressed gratitude to the college management for helping to organize various service programs in the YNS department of the college in the last 20 years.
Dr. C.S. Rao, College Director (Accreditations) said that under the auspices of Y.Y.S., free medical camps, financial assistance in case of natural calamities, Swachha Bharat program is organized in the surrounding areas of the college from time to time and its students are ahead in community service programs.
On the occasion of Y.Y.S. Day, Program Officer of Y.Y.S. Department Dr. Under the leadership of Devi Jyoti Swarup, Y.Y.S. workers distributed 2 bags of rice and fruits to the elderly in the orphanage in Desai Peta, the principal of the college said.
