Workshop on Data Analytics Using Power BI at St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala
St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala, organized a workshop on “Data Analytics Using Power BI” for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) students and emerging branches such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). The college Secretary, Shri Vanama Ramakrishna Rao, and Correspondent, Shri Simantula Lakshmana Rao, announced this in a statement on Tuesday.
On this occasion, the Principal, Dr. K. Jagadeesh Babu, stated that renowned software company IBM’s Master Trainer, Eluri Narendra, attended the workshop as the chief guest and enlightened the students on the subject. He mentioned that the workshop was conducted with the collaboration of APSSDC, IBM, and the Edunet Foundation under the college’s guidance.
The resource person, Eluri Narendra, explained that data analytics is highly useful for designing applications and displaying results in graphical form. He emphasized the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence in the future, which will save time and energy while simplifying tasks. He also highlighted how Machine Learning transforms machines into smarter devices.
The event witnessed active participation from faculty and students. Among those present were Dr. P. Harini, Head of the CSE Department; Dr. C. Harikishan, Head of the AI & ML Department; Dr. S. Indranil, Head of the IoT Department; Dr. K. Subbarao, Head of the Data Science Department; Dr. Ramesh, Head of the Cyber Security Department; APSSDC Coordinator M. Umamaheshwara Rao; and APSSDC Spark Coordinator Dr. A. Tirupatiah.
Faculty members, students, and other participants gained valuable insights from the workshop, making it a significant learning experience.
