Faculty Development Program on Natural Language Processing
St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala, has announced a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Natural Language Processing. This was jointly informed by the College Secretary Vanama Ramakrishna Rao and Correspondent Y.S. Lakshman Rao in a statement.
The FDP on Natural Language Processing is being organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the college in collaboration with the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal. The Principal of the college, Dr. K. Jagadish Babu, mentioned that this initiative aims to enhance faculty members’ understanding of modern technologies. He emphasized that Natural Language Processing is currently a crucial aspect of technology, offering significant benefits to common people at a lower cost.
The program is being conducted online, with more than 80 faculty members from various colleges participating. Dr. P. Harini, Head of the CSE Department, stated that the event will be held from March 17 to 22. Dr. K. Kishore Kumar from the ECE Department at NIT Warangal attended as the Chief Guest. In his address, Dr. Kishore Kumar encouraged students to develop a good mindset for innovation and to focus on new inventions.
The FDP saw participation from the faculty members of the Computer Science and Engineering Department.
