A first-year student of St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala, has secured the prestigious Vinni Sun Scholarship awarded by the Lotus Petal Foundation at the national level, announced the college Secretary, Mr. Vanama Ramakrishna Rao, and Correspondent, Mr. S. Lakshmana Rao, in a joint statement.

The Principal of the college, Dr. K. Jagadeesh Babu, informed that Ms. S. Vijaya Renuka, a first-year student from the Computer Science and Engineering Department, won the Vinni Sun Scholarship after successfully clearing the national-level interview conducted recently by the Lotus Petal Foundation.

Under this scholarship, she will receive ₹62,300 per year for a total of four years, sponsored by the Lotus Petal Foundation.

Dr. Jagadeesh Babu mentioned that the foundation selects students from across the country for this scholarship, and it is a matter of pride for the college that one of their students has secured this prestigious award.

On this occasion, a felicitation program was conducted at the college, where Mr. S. Amarnath Babu, First-Year In-charge, Dr. P. Harini, Head of the CSE Department, faculty members, students, and non-teaching staff congratulated Ms. S. Vijaya Renuka on her remarkable achievement.
