A Blood Donation Camp was organized at St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology on Monday, 25-08-2025, under the auspices of the NSS Unit of the College in collaboration with the Police Department, according to a joint statement released by College Secretary Sri Vanama Ramakrishna Rao and Correspondent Sri Srimanthula Lakshmana Rao.
The camp, conducted by the NSS Unit of the college with the support of Brahma Kumaris, was inaugurated by College Principal Dr. K. Jagadish Babu. On this occasion, senior faculty members addressed the students, stating that blood donation is the noblest of all donations, equal to giving life itself. They appreciated the enthusiastic participation of students, highlighting that donating blood helps save lives during emergencies.
A total of 100 students voluntarily donated blood in this camp. Dr. K. Nagi Reddy, In-charge of the Blood Bank at the Government Area Hospital, Chirala, along with his medical team, actively participated in the program.
The camp was organized under the supervision of Dr. D. Jyothi Swaroop, NSS Program Officer, and NSS Coordinators of the college.
