Two-Day Workshop on Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking at St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala



St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala organized a two-day workshop on “Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking.” The event was announced jointly by the College Secretary Vanama Ramakrishna Rao and Correspondent Srimanthula Lakshmana Rao.

According to the College Principal Dr. K. Jagadeesh Babu, the workshop was conducted under the supervision of the Department of Cyber Security for B.Tech 2nd and 3rd-year students. The sessions were led by Mr. C.H. Vishwanath, Cyber Security Expert, Nivi Cyber Security Solutions, Hyderabad, and Mr. Mohan Ranga from Lavanya Technologies.

Speaking at the inauguration, the Principal emphasized the growing importance of Cyber Security in today’s digital world. He stated that everyone using technology must be aware of cybersecurity measures to protect their valuable data and finances. He encouraged students to gain practical knowledge of modern technologies and software tools in Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking to secure better career opportunities.

The Head of the Department of Cyber Security and IoT, Dr. Y. Indraneel, stated that the workshop provided students with hands-on training to understand various cyber threats, problem-solving techniques, and coding practices to develop effective security solutions.

Dr. C. Subba Rao, Director (Accreditations), along with Heads of various departments, faculty members, and students, actively participated in the workshop.
