The volleyball team of St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala, achieved a remarkable victory by emerging as winners in the volleyball competitions आयोजित as part of Akshar Gala 2K26 Festival. This was jointly announced by the College Secretary, Vanama Ramakrishna Rao, and Correspondent, S. Lakshmana Rao.
The event was recently conducted at KITS Akshar Institute of Technology, Guntur. Competing against 46 teams, the St. Ann’s College team showcased exceptional performance and secured the championship title. In the finals, they defeated the team from SRK Institute of Technology, Vijayawada, and won the winners’ trophy, as informed by the Principal, Dr. K. Jagadeesh Babu.
The winning team members included R. Ramana, G.V.R. Teja Reddy, K. Andrews, G. Michael, K. Dani, K. Sai Kumar, and M. Renwanth Venkata Mani Kumar. The team was guided by Physical Director Annam Srinivasa Rao.
On this occasion, a felicitation ceremony was held where Administrative Manager R. V. Ramana Murthy, Director (Accreditations) Dr. C. Subba Rao, Director (Administration) Vanama Dora Naga Sainath, Director (Finance) B. Sai Charan Raju, along with heads of departments, faculty members, and students, congratulated the volleyball team for bringing laurels to the institution.
