The Secretary of St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala, Mr. Vanama Ramakrishna Rao, and the Correspondent, Mr. Srimantula Lakshmana Rao, jointly announced that 103 students have been selected for the renowned Sutherland Global Services.

St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, established in 2001 in Chirala, is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and permanently affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK). The institution has received accreditation from the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) three times, an ‘A’ Grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) twice, recognition under sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the University Grants Commission (UGC), and autonomous status. Additionally, it holds an ‘A’ Grade from the Government of Andhra Pradesh and permanent recognition from the Institution of Engineers. The college has also been recognized as one of the top engineering colleges in India by surveys conducted by The Times of India and CEGR.

Dr. K. Jagadeesh Babu, Principal of the college, stated that 103 students from the 2025 graduating batch were selected through virtual campus placements conducted by Sutherland Global Services. The selected students include:

• 31 from the CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) department,
• 34 from the ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) department,
• 4 from the EEE (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) department,
• 5 from the Civil Engineering department,
• 19 from the AI & ML (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) department,
• 2 from the Cyber Security department,
• 6 from the Data Science department,
• 2 from the IoT (Internet of Things) department.

Mr. Nuthalapati Poornachandra Rao, Training and Placement Officer, mentioned that the selected students would receive an annual salary package of ₹2.70 lakhs along with other allowances.

Ramesh, along with other heads of departments, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students, congratulated the selected students on their achievement.
