St.Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala, students’ volleyball team emerged as winners in the national-level tournaments, as announced by the College Secretary Sri Vanama Ramakrishna Rao and College Correspondent Sri Y. S. Lakshman Rao in a joint statement.

In the national-level games and sports competitions organized recently at R.V.R. and J.C. Engineering College, Guntur, during the occasion of “Kalardiyo,” 20 teams participated in the volleyball event. After competing against these teams, the Saint Ans College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala team defeated the R.V.R. and J.C. Engineering College, Guntur team in the finals, winning in straight sets. The victory was confirmed by the College Principal Dr. K. Jagadeesh Babu.

The members of the volleyball team included R. Ramana, G. Tejareddy, G. Michael, K. Sanni, K. Sai Kumar, K. Deni, D. Chandrashekhar, K. Andrews, T. Nani, G. Sai Krishna, N. Chandrashekhar, and M. Revant. The college Physical Education Instructor Sri Annam Srinivasarao informed that these students participated in the competition.

A congratulatory ceremony was held on the occasion, where the College Administrative Manager Sri R.V. Ramanamurthi, various department heads, faculty members, and students participated to congratulate the volleyball team on their success.
