Successful Completion of IoT Workshop on Industrial Applications
St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala, organized a workshop on IoT Industrial Applications for the students of the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Department, as announced jointly by the college secretary, Mr. Vanama Ramakrishna Rao, and correspondent, Mr. Srimanthula Lakshmana Rao.
Under the supervision of the ECE Department, the two-day workshop on IoT Industrial Applications was successfully conducted, stated the college principal, Dr. K. Jagadeesh Babu. The workshop was led by Mr. Uppala Sumanth, Senior Engineer at Bosch Company, Bengaluru, and former resource person at APSSDC, Vijayawada, as informed by the Head of the ECE Department, Dr. D. Rajendra Prasad.
In his address, Mr. Uppala Sumanth emphasized the growing importance of IoT in modern technology fields. He provided students with valuable insights into the Internet of Things and demonstrated its significance in industrial applications through practical experiments. During the workshop, students performed experiments using Arduino and Node MCU applications.
He highlighted the immense importance of IoT in today’s electronics industry, stating that individuals trained in IoT Industrial Applications are in high demand and are offered lucrative salaries by multinational companies.
The workshop witnessed active participation from the faculty of the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department and third-year B.Tech students.
