St. Ann’s College of Engineering & Technology, Chirala conducted a grand Induction Programme on August 4, 2025, for newly admitted First Year B.Tech students. The event was held to welcome and orient the freshers, and it was formally announced by College Secretary Sri Vanama Ramakrishna Rao and Correspondent Sri Y.S. Lakshmana Rao in a joint press statement.
The programme was graced by Dr. K.V.S.G. Murali Krishna, Former Vice-Chancellor of JNTU Kakinada, as the Chief Guest. He appreciated the college for achieving 100% admissions and encouraged the management to continue delivering quality education with futuristic teaching methods and to prepare responsible citizens for the nation.

🛠 Vision by the Founders:
- Founder Chairman Vanama Venkateswara Rao, Former Minister, recalled the college’s humble beginnings in 2001 with 180 students and its remarkable growth to 6,000+ students today. He expressed the vision of seeing 10,000 students learning at the college in the near future.
- Chairman Vanama Raghavendra Rao aspired for students to bring global recognition to the institution by achieving placements in top domestic and international companies.
- Vice Chairman B. Phani Raju mentioned that the college ensures convenient transport facilities so that students can commute safely to and from campus each day. He encouraged students to stay focused and aim high.

- Academic toppers from 2024–25 were honored with mementos
- Sheik Farzana was felicitated for receiving the University Gold Medal
- Mohammad Khaja Vali was honored for winning Gold Medals in National & International Weightlifting and Powerlifting Competitions

- Dr. K.V.S.G. Murali Krishna was felicitated by the management
