The 79th Independence Day celebrations were held grandly at St. Ann’s Group of Institutions, according to a joint statement released by College Secretary Sri Vanama Ramakrishna Rao and Correspondent Sri Srimanthula Lakshmana Rao.
On this occasion, College Principal Dr. K. Jagadish Babu unfurled the National Flag. Addressing the gathering, the Principal explained the significance of Independence Day and the sacrifices of freedom fighters. He emphasized that India, with its diverse castes, cultures, and languages, is progressing in various fields while overcoming challenges, with the welfare of the people as its ultimate goal.
He highlighted that the nation is advancing in agriculture, technology, and other domains, thereby contributing to public welfare. He expressed hope that in the coming days, India will emerge as a leading nation in the world. He called upon the students to become future contributors to the nation’s growth with discipline, hard work, and dedication. The Principal also encouraged every student to gain awareness of Artificial Intelligence and strive for better career opportunities.
On this occasion, prizes were distributed by the College Correspondent Sri Srimanthula Lakshmana Rao to the students who excelled in various competitions organized by the AIML Department.
The program was also attended by Sri R.V. Ramana Murthy (Administrative Manager), Dr. C. Subbarao (Director – Accreditations, R&D), Physical Director Annam Srinivasa Rao, Heads of Departments, faculty, non-teaching staff, and students.
