At St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, the faculty member of the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, J. Kavitha, has been conferred a Ph.D. degree, announced College Secretary Vanama Ramakrishna Rao and Correspondent S. Lakshmana Rao.
College Principal Dr. K. Jagadeesh Babu stated that Andhra University has awarded the Ph.D. degree to J. Kavitha for her research work titled:
“Design, Fabrication and Characterization of MEMS Based Capacitive Pressure Sensors for Low Pressure Biomedical Applications.”
The research was carried out under the supervision of Prof. P. Swapna, Andhra University College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam, mentioned ECE Head of Department Dr. R. Rajendra Prasad.
J. Kavitha further shared that the research was conducted with the support of the Indian Nanoelectronics User Program at the Center for Nano Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India.
On this occasion, the teaching faculty, non-teaching staff, and students of the college congratulated J. Kavitha on receiving her Ph.D. degree.
