
St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala has been honored with a Special Award by JNTU-Kakinada. This was jointly announced in a statement by the college Secretary, Sri Vanama Ramakrishna Rao, and Correspondent, Sri Y. Laxmana Rao. On the occasion of the 18th University Formation Day of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTU-K), the University recognized engineering colleges under its jurisdiction that secured NBA accreditation in 100% of eligible undergraduate courses.
As part of this, St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala, received a special award, stated the Principal, Dr. K. Jagadeesh Babu.
Among the three colleges under JNTU-K that received this award, St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala was the first to be honored. The award was formally presented by JNTU-K Vice-Chancellor Prof. C.S.R.K. Prasad during a special ceremony held at Kakinada on the 6th of this month, as part of the University’s 18th Formation Day celebrations.
On this occasion, Dr. C. Subbarao, Director (R&D and Accreditations), faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students of the college congratulated the college management.
