t. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala, has launched a Workshop on Data Structures and Algorithms, announced the College Secretary Vanama Ramakrishna Rao and Correspondent Srimanthula Lakshmana Rao in a joint statement.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), in collaboration with Laura Technologies, Bengaluru, is organizing this 9-day workshop for 3rd-year B.Tech students, starting from Friday, said College Principal Dr. K. Jagadeesh Babu.
Inaugurating the workshop, Dr. Pogadanda Harini, Head of the CSE Department, emphasized that understanding Data Structures and Algorithms is essential for every computer science student. She added that students with sound knowledge of this subject have greater opportunities to secure high-paying jobs in reputed companies. She also mentioned that Data Structures and Algorithms are widely used in programming languages like Java and Python.
During the workshop, Ramesh Reddy from Laura Technologies, Bengaluru, is guiding the students to gain hands-on experience and develop programs related to Data Structures and Algorithms.
The event was attended by Dr. C. Subbarao, Director (Accreditations, R&D), and R. Ramanamurthy, Administrative Manager. T. Shesha Sai is serving as the Convener of the program.
