St. Ann’s Students Shine at the 41st Andhra Pradesh State-Level Taekwondo ChampionshipStudents Who Won Medals Felicitated by the College Management



he B.Tech students of St. Ann’s College of Engineering & Technology showcased exceptional talent at the state-level Taekwondo competitions and brought home several medals, announced College Secretary Vanama Ramakrishna Rao and Correspondent Y. Lakshmana Rao.

The college students participated in the 41st Andhra Pradesh State Senior Kyrougi Taekwondo Championship, held recently at Surya Kalamaandiram, Kakinada, and won gold, silver, and bronze medals in various categories, said Principal Dr. K. Jagadeesh Babu.

Medal Winners:

  • Panduraboyina Bhanu Rekha, a B.Tech 4th-year student, won the Gold Medal in the Under 57 kg category.
  • Y.S.K. Shahid, a 2nd-year B.Tech student, secured the Bronze Medal in the Over 87 kg category.
  • C.H. Abhiram, a 1st-year Mechanical Engineering student, won the Silver Medal.

These details were shared by Physical Director Annam Srinivasa Rao, who also stated that Bhanu Rekha will participate in the National Championship scheduled to be held in Hyderabad in December 2025.

On this occasion, Dr. P. Harini (HoD, CSE), Dr. Y.S. Indraneel (HoD, IoT), Y.S. Amarnath, Dr. C. Subba Rao (Incharge First Year & Director, Accreditations), R.V. Ramanamurthy (Manager, Administration), Physical Director Annam Srinivasa Rao, various department heads, faculty, non-teaching staff, and students congratulated the winners for their remarkable achievement.
