Faculty Development Program Conducted at St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala



A Faculty Development Program (FDP) was successfully conducted for faculty members at St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala, according to a joint statement released by the College Secretary Vanama Ramakrishna Rao and Correspondent Y. Lakshman Rao.

The program was graced by Prof. A. Venugopal, Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Warangal, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the faculty, he delivered an insightful session on Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and CO–PO Attainment Processes, stated the Dr. K. Jagadeesh Babu, Principal of the college.

Prof. A. Venugopal explained the concepts of Outcome-Based Education in detail and clearly demonstrated the methods of implementing Course Outcome (CO) and Program Outcome (PO) attainment, enabling faculty members to gain practical understanding of the process.

The program was organized under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college. It was emphasized that training in Outcome-Based Education helps faculty members adopt effective strategies to further enhance students’ skills and learning outcomes.

The program witnessed active participation from Heads of Departments and faculty members from various departments, making the event highly informative and beneficial.
