St. Ann’s College Students Win National-Level Volleyball and Kabaddi Championships



The volleyball and kabaddi teams of St. Ann’s College of Engineering & Technology, Chirala, emerged as winners in the National-Level Volleyball and Kabaddi Tournaments held at Narasaraopet Engineering College, according to a joint statement issued by College Secretary Mr. Vanama Ramakrishna Rao and College Correspondent Mr. Y. Lakshmana Rao.

The National-Level Volleyball Tournament, conducted as part of “Jubilation–2K26” celebrations at Narasaraopet Engineering College, witnessed participation from 16 teams from various institutions. After competing with all teams, the men’s volleyball team of St. Ann’s College of Engineering & Technology, Chirala, secured the championship title by defeating Tirumala Engineering College in the finals, informed College Principal Dr. K. Jagadeesh Babu.

The men’s volleyball team comprised R. Ramana, G. V. R. Teja Reddy, Rajaratnam, G. Michael, K. Dani, K. Sai Kumar, Naveen, Aditya, and Deni Venkata Mani Kumar, as stated by Physical Education Lecturer Mr. Annam Srinivasa Rao.

In the women’s kabaddi category, the St. Ann’s College women’s team also emerged as champions by defeating Tirumala Engineering College in the finals. The women’s kabaddi team included K. Anita, Manasa, B. Pravallika, P. Harini, B. Shruti, B. Ramya, M. Sravani, T. Srividya, Y. Bhoomika, and M. Devamani, informed Mr. Annam Srinivasa Rao.

During the felicitation ceremony held on this occasion, Mr. V. Dora Naga Sainadh (Director – Administration), Mr. R. V. Ramana Murthy (Manager – Administration), heads of various departments, faculty members, and students congratulated the men’s volleyball and women’s kabaddi teams for their outstanding achievement.
