A three-day workshop on Drone Technology has been inaugurated at St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, Chirala. This was jointly announced by the College Secretary, Vanama Ramakrishna Rao, and Correspondent, Srimanthula Lakshmana Rao.
The workshop is being organized by the Mechanical Engineering Department from March 16, 2026, for B.Tech second and third-year students, as informed by the Principal, Dr. K. Jagadeesh Babu. The program is being conducted in collaboration with Ramsur Agri LLP, under the guidance of K. Manoj Kumar, said Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Dr. Lakshmi Tulasi Chavali.
During the workshop, students will gain awareness and practical exposure to drone technology, including hands-on experiments and applications. Addressing the gathering, the Principal highlighted the growing importance of drone technology in the modern technological world and encouraged students to focus on this field to secure better career opportunities.
The workshop is coordinated by P. Harish and B. Ravi Kumar. At the inaugural session, Director (Accreditations) Dr. C. Subba Rao, Director (Administration) Vanama Dora Naga Sainath, faculty members of the Mechanical Engineering Department, and students participated in the program.
